During his time as Mayor of Phoenix, Greg built a bipartisan coalition to rebuild the economy after the Great Recession and led Phoenix to simultaneously have the fastest-growing population and highest-growing wages— a rare feat.

• Led the effort to pass the CHIPS and Science Act—a historic, bipartisan investment in domestic manufacturing, research and development of semiconductor chips that will create thousands of quality, high-wage jobs in the East Valley, lower costs for consumer goods, and end dependence on foreign manufacturers.

• Secured $1 million in federal investment for Maricopa Community Colleges to support the development of its bioscience program in a House appropriations bill.

• Passed legislation that provides $100 million in grants for local governments to purchase drones or contract for services to inspect critical infrastructure and help ease the nation’s serious inspection backlog, and another $100 million for training the next generation workforce on the use of this technology.
