America’s democracy is in crisis—something Greg knows first-hand.  He was on the House floor, readying to defend Arizona’s election results when insurrectionists broke into the Capitol attempting to overturn the will of the voters.

 

Greg believes that defending our democracy is the highest priority.

 

In Congress, Greg supports the bipartisan Presidential Election Reform Act and has voted to pass H.R. 4, the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would restore the full protections of the landmark Voting Rights Act of 1965. Greg also voted for and supported the For the People Act, a sweeping democracy reform bill that addressed threats to democracy by expanding voting rights, strengthening ethics reforms, and reducing the use of dark money in elections.
