MESA, AZ —  Greg Stanton for Congress today announced that Reproductive Freedom for All (formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America)  has endorsed Congressman Greg Stanton for re-election citing his pro-choice voting record and leadership standing up to an unprecedented wave of anti-abortion attacks led by MAGA extremists.

“Reproductive freedom is on the line in states across the country, even where abortion is protected,” said Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju. “That’s why we need proven, pro-choice leaders like Greg Stanton in Congress to stop these extreme MAGA attacks. We cannot afford anti-abortion extremists who will follow Trump’s agenda instead of defending our fundamental freedoms. Since entering public service, Stanton has been a leading voice and champion for reproductive care access and affordability, helping to lead the fight to restore Roe v. Wade protections and defending the freedom of women and healthcare providers to make medical decisions free from political interference.

Stanton Key Actions on Reproductive Freedom
 

• Helped lead the fight to protect abortion access and affordability nationwide – Helped introduce legislation to stop states or the federal government from restricting abortion care as well as legislation to protect insurance coverage for abortion.
   

• Helped strengthen reproductive health care for servicemembers and veterans – Helped introduce legislation to protect access for servicemembers and expand contraception and infertility treatment options for veterans, and helped lead congressional efforts opposing efforts to restrict reproductive health services and counseling through the VA.
   

• Defended contraception rights – Supported federal protections for birth control and worked to strengthen access for veterans, including those who rely on the VA for consistent contraception.
   

• Fought to protect emergency reproductive care – Cosponsored legislation affirming that every person has the basic right to emergency health care, including abortion care.
   

• Worked to shut down backdoor abortion bans and legal workarounds – Supported legislation to prevent extremists from weaponizing outdated laws to restrict abortion care and medication access, and joined litigation defending reproductive freedom in the federal courts.
   

• Promoted IVF and fertility care – Backed federal safeguards for family-building services, including IVF and assisted reproductive technology, with specific provisions supporting veterans facing infertility.
   

• Defended family planning and pregnancy and postpartum supports – Strongly opposed disruptions to the Title X family planning network, supported international family planning and reproductive health programs, and backed policy recognizing pregnancy and postpartum recovery needs.
