Ready for Strong Re-Election Effort with $2.4 Million On-Hand;

78 Percent of Individual Contributions From In-State Donors

PHOENIX—Rep. Greg Stanton raised $980,000 in the first quarter of 2022, giving his campaign more than $2.4 million on-hand as the former mayor and second-term congressman gears up for re-election after being redrawn into one of the competitive districts in the nation.

Notably, Stanton showed impressive support from within the state as 78 percent of individual contributions were made by Arizona residents.  The campaign earned more than 2,100 individual contributions during the quarter.

“I’m proud to have the support of so many Arizonans who want their representative to reach across party lines to get things done and improve people’s lives,” Stanton said. “I’ll continue to work to create good-paying jobs, stand up to the drug companies to make prescription drugs more affordable and protect Arizona’s water supply.”

Stanton is running in Arizona’s new Fourth Congressional District, which includes the East Valley—Ahwatukee (southeast Phoenix), Tempe, Chandler and Mesa.
